My boyfriend is seeing someone else?
I have been in a LDR with a man for three years. I thought we were really serious, I met his children and spent Christmas with him and his family (he is divorced with 4 children). He has been divorced for 4 years and we have been together for 3 years. We live apart and see each other every three weeks for about 5 days. We committed to being exclusive and told each other we love each other but also have decided that neither will relocate. Now I just found out that he is cheating on me. He has been seeing another girl long distance for six months and they get together once a month also. Could he really be committed to me and just be using her. Or was the relationship with me so soon after his divorce (there was no separation period b/f the divorce was final that I was a rebound? I am so confused, I really love him. Doesn't it seem his affair is just for meaningless sex?

do you want to be with a man who is cheating on you? That's what you need to ask yourself. Also talk to him about it. If your ok with his cheating on you than hey that's your business and i guess you should just stick with him. But if it bothers you and makes you distrust him. Is he honestly worth it? There are so many other guys out there. If your going to stay with him. Than you might as well state that YOU are going to start seeing other men as well. A relationship is about partners and being equals in all that you do.

What I would do if i were in your shoes. First and most important, sort out all of the things that you are confused about. Do not stop or quit until you are no longer in debate. Next, make a list of your goals in life. Now that will give you a much clearer picture of where your bf fits into the picture and you will see that some of the value you have is misplaced and once the confusion is gone and your goals have roads to them it will be easy. Getting there is a little more complicated but it is important, it is your life. Take the time to do it right or you will spend an enourmous amount of time in your life trying to fix things that aren't broken or do not fit. Put your mind to it and do not stop. If you need help you always have us here at answers. Good luck.

Tell this guy it's been nice and find someone who will treat you right and be committed to your relationship. He can't commit or love you right now. His actions proved that.
