ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i luv this game..
when u serve be sure to be on the right position and when u hit the ball, ure hand should be closed ovally. do not open it.
when a strong ball comes to u and its in the middle, snap ure rist while hitting it.
WHile spiking face the other side and jump at the correct time not early or late. snap ure wrist while hitting it so it goes down...

The best way to improve is to take every opportunity to play. I played in high school and college and i learned most of what I know by playing for a club team during the winter and playing grass doubles in the summer in addition to the high school team. It's a big committment but it may be worth it for you!

when you bump, don't solely use your arms. keep your arms straight and use your legs to push up (becuase your knees should be bent) when you set, bend your knees and elbows and push out , so your sets get more distance. when serving, make sure the ball is at the perfect height. serving open handed gives you the strongest serve, but only if you hit the ball with the heel of your hand. also, while serving, swing your arm back, and follow through, to get more distance and power. DON'T BE AFRAID TO DIVE!! that's why knee pads were invented. and listen to any tips from your coach, because they are there to help you!! x) good luck!!

Keep practicing the basics. Repetition over and over makes you do things automatically and not even think about what you are doing. Good luck!!

That's a pretty broad question. It would help to know your principal position.
