I have heard that we get colds more often in the winter because people are inside more than they are in the summer. Does this apply in the south too? I would assume that people in Florida are inside MORE during the summer months, due to the temperatures. Maybe their illness season is in the summer.

(I'm sure it's not - but really, what is the reason?)
