Bulimia is where you binge out on food and then throw it up. However, people with Anorexia, sometimes throw up too. Although they barely eat.
As far as using the bathroom; are you talking about someone using Laxatives and taking a lot of dumps to lose weight? Cause I'm not sure that necessarily goes in either category. That's just an extreme measure to lose some pounds.

Yeah bulimia isnt only throwing up. Lots of people use laxatives, diuretics, even ipicac, just any way of getting rid of the food.

you don't 'get' bulimia, it's a psychological disorder which is drawn from insecurity to your personal image and poor eating habits. A bulimic personality will starve themselves, then binge, throw up, binge, throw up. It shocks the whole body, so going to the bathroom a lot might happen.

From Medline Plus:
Bulimia is an illness defined by food binges, or recurrent episodes of significant overeating, that are accompanied by a sense of loss of control. The affected person then uses various methods -- such as vomiting or laxative abuse -- to prevent weight gain.
