Why not? Look at the chumps that hold so-called titles now.

Honey ~
Tommy Morrison is very capable of winning a Heavyweight title right now, have you've see the Heavyweight landscape right now? Pathetic to write the least. The unfortunate thing here for Tommy is, he'll never have the chance because he is still HIV positive. The last state in which he fought a blood test was not mandatory but if his comeback is indeed successful and does manage to work himself into position for a title shot New York, L.A and the place where it was first discovered he had HIV Vegas are the most likely place for a Heavyweight title bout all test for HIV among other things.
Magic Johnson who indeed HIV positive has his blood work done every month and because of his medication of AZT and other drugs sometimes his blood work comes back negative for the virus, Tommy is experiencing the same thing but the biggest difference is magic isn't out playing basketball telling anyone within earshot that "He's HIV negative"
It'll never happen Honey. Thanks for the question.

Tommy morrison is not cpable of beating any quality heavyweights at this point in his career. The sport has passed him by. As far as who is the pound for pound best in this division right now I think many boxing professionals would agree that it is Vladamir Klitchsko. I dont see anyone beating him, he is making a serious run for the title right now and he is going to unify the belts. I am not a big fan of his but he is the most athletic heavyweight out there right now.

Morrison has the punching power to give any of the current titlists trouble, even the Klitschko's. If anybody gives Tommy a shot, We might see America get part of the title back. Morrison is certainly capable of KOing any of them. At 38 the clock is ticking, but current competition make it a definite and very real possibility.

I agree with Santana and even if he does go through the process and clears his name convincing the commision he is negative; it would take more than a couple years to convince them and then I still don't believe the other boxers will be willing to put theirselves at risk to HIV. I know I wouldn't step in the ring with him when so much blood is bound to pass from one boxer to the other.
Oh and a side note: when Magic Johnson toured Asia (namely Korea) he did lie over there and say he no longer had HIV in order to participate in some things but your point you were making is still valid.

Of the 4 listed i will see all of them interior the identify hunt -- and quite the three 'youthful adult men' at last retaining Gold --- I is easily not bowled over to work out Christian w/ it... yet i'm going to be much less bowled over if he in no way gets greater suitable... That suggested... if the stick to the Dolph/factor Feud to Mania he would be first (Morrison and Kofi have already been in Chamber fits and to date the only adult men with greater suitable than one Chamber tournament even have international/WWE Titles on the resume) -- one in all them 'ought to' win the Rumble (yet returned precedent rears its head in No IC/US champion has gained the Rumble on condition that they made the Mania tournament a prize That takes Kofi out of the working interior the instantaneous destiny (because of the fact the Mid card belts have in many circumstances been dropped in improve of the main experience Push -- in maximum situations the main exception being astounding Warrior interior the ninety's so rather that purely leaves Ziggler and Morrison interior the pre-Mania boost -- and with Ziggler in a identify tournament on the rumble he will become maximum obvious B1: as quickly as Mania Arrives, all bets are off as my 'exclusionary reasoning' wears off... and based if Mania has its very own MitB tournament returned (heck in the event that they have 2 @ an MitB PPV and a million at Mania... all 4 adult men ought to be interior the image/carry the identify until now twelve months's end (december 09-to december 2010 observed 3 1st time champions crown in Sheamus, Swagger and Miz, 2 via MitB -- throw in a Rumble win and you have instantaneous elevation of four adult men interior of a twelve months B2: Masters is by using and massive enhancement expertise... they throw him a win now and then to cover the smell of 'Jobber' yet I doubt he weill ever be a champion... yet whilst it occurs he'd greater probable be a transitional one -- My purely wager for the way he ought to locate his some time past into the Mid-card identify scene would be if he have been a NXT professional (i don't stick to it so he would have been as quickly as) and if his rookie -- no count if by using win or what ever -- moved to uncooked or SD! and that they worked an attitude with/against one yet another

I personally don't see it HIV positive or not. The Duke was a good fighter back in the 90s who had a good career but IMO was never good enough to win a title back then or now. In his prime everytime he stepped up he lost. Now even though the heavies aren't as talented as back then they aren't as bad as people say. Of couse Tommy would always have a punchers chance but if he's able to step up, this time minus the youth and minus the steroids I see bad things happening to him.

Despite the "false" HIV test none of the champs will give him a shot. We're talking about a sport where you can bleed
