Burn the ISO as an image. Do not simply copy the ISO file onto the CD as a single data file.

As for your Microsoft Windows XP CD, it is a bootable CD.

Your burning software will have the capability to make a CD from an ISO... I know nero and adaptec can and so can the built in one in XP and the ones I've met that come with Linux. Try putting 'ISO' in as a search in the help for your CD burning software.

The ISO will be written as a binary image onto the blank CD... and will act as a bootable CD.

It's worked fine for win98 and winXP CDs that I've made from ISOs.
