They do melt in the muffin as it is baking, but they keep their shape and as the whole muffin cools, the chocolate chips keep their shape as they harden.

I started using Nestle Chocolate Chunks because I wanted unmelted chocolate in cookies. I think because they are larger they don't melt right away. You might want to try this. Also, bake the muffins at a lower temperature for a little longer time and this might help.

Aah, Patric was right! If the chipits are frozen they retain they're shape better. If you ever decide to make blueberry muffins, use frozen blueberries and the juice won't bleed into the batter as much. And they always turn out better if you think about who you're going to share them with while you're making them.

Just mix the chips in with the batter, fill cups and bake. They won't melt completely just soften. Sounds good. Are you serving fresh coffee with that?

Do from scratch,do not use a commercial blend ,a fold in chips final ,enable batter to sit down down together as oven heats to allow soda to paintings place in heated oven 375 F 20-25 minutes. cool in pan for a jiffy and turn out onto a rack to relax
