It all depends upon your body size and weight, how much you had to eat, and you own personal tolerance.. There is no set limit to where if you drink this much you are drunk.. If you are talking legal limit.. in most states it's .08 which is equal to about 2 ounces of 100 proof alcohol per hour. Again depends upon your body weight and size.. Everyone has different tolerances here too.
The guys answer right below this is so far off it's almost laughable.. I have no clue where he got such numbers but he is trying awful hard to convince.. Don't even pay attention to it, an answer like that will get you in trouble.

A night can last for quite a while. However, my friendly DMV sent me a little alcohol impairment chart, which lets me locate my weight, the number of "servings" i drink, and how long it's been since my last drink. According to this chart, anyone who weighs less than 210 pounds will be hammered after consuming 6 servings of alcohol, no matter what. For those of you poor saps who weigh less than 110 pounds, you'll be smashed after three drinks, even if you've waited four hours.
For an average human being, four servings of alcohol will get you drunk, and after that, a drink each hour will keep you drunk. However, women are more susceptible to the effects of alcohol than men.
So, how much is a serving?
For 90 proof liquor, a serving is 1 1/4 ounces, so by drinking five ounces of 90 proof liquor, you will be drunk. This is the hard stuff, and most any rum, tequilla, whiskey, or vodka will count. That's four shots to get an average person drunk.
For wine, (about 15 proof) a serving is 4 ounces, about the size of a wine glass. By drinking 16 ounces of wine, or four glasses, you will probably get drunk.
For beer (about 5 proof), a serving is 10 ounces, or about the size of a beer mug. Again, four mugs will probably get you drunk.
Why not head on over to the DMV, they usually have piles of these charts on the back table, where you can grab one without waiting in line, or maybe they even have some on a website.
Of course, the table isn't perfect. It doesn't talk about what happens with people who weight a lot more than 210 pounds, or less than 90 pounds. It also doesnt tell you what happens after four hours of time, or if you've had more than eight servings of alcohol. It also falls a bit short in specifying servings of liquer (such as midori, which is usually served in a 3 ounce glass, and it doesn't talk about liquors that have a proof of more than 90... which is a serious flaw, since baccardi has a proof of 151, and everclear gets up to 180.

In the U.S. you are legally intoxicated after about two drinks. As far as an individuals level of intoxication, some are more tolerant than others, and it depends on the individual. Lighter people tend to have a low tolerance, and heavier tend to be more tolerant.

well since you are a girl, and i assume you don't normally drink since your asking.. so i would say that you prolly will be tipsy after just one beer, and almost drunk with 2 -3 beers, and any more, you'll jsut be more drunk ;). Also, 2 shots and you'll be drunk for sure.

One will limit your decision making and loosen you up.
Three and you can't legally drive, your reactions are slowed.
Five and you feel you can do pretty much anything (calling ex's, getting in a fight)

It only takes me one hard alchoholic drink, or two beers. I only drink about twice a year if that.
