I'm 335lbs. So far it's been a week and I've cut out all junk foods. I've been drinking water and Walking to my At Home Fitness tapes. They are 4 Miles and one is 2 Miles. I do the 4 Mile one everyday it's about an hour and 10mins. And this is my diet.

Breakfast:Oatmeal(Quaker Oats Weight Control~2 Packs.)
Fruit~Apple Wedges w/ Cinnamon or just Apple Wedges
Yogurt~Lite & Fit Kind
Water

Lunch:Sandwich~Whole Wheat Bread, Turkey Breast, Tomato and Cucumber.
Carrot Sticks and Cucumber Slices
Water

Dinner:Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast(Baked) and Half Plate of Steamed Veggies(Broccoli and Carrots)

That's what I it.

If I keep this up will I lose weight? It's all I can do for now until I get my weight down to a certain level.

And if it's not healthy, What can I eat for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner? Please me a list.

Thanks

Oh Yeah, when I'm with my mom and niece and nephews and little brother and sisters, I always carry my water bottles with me in a little Lunch Bag. Are those Crystal Light Packets good as they say they are? I'm 17 so I'm trying to get this weight off while I can.

Sounds like you are doing good. The walking is great. You should be seeing results on the scale soon. Did you leave anything out of your menu? Like, do you put mayo on your sandwich? Are you putting anything fattening on your veggies? Little things like that add up. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you can stick to this. I know it is hard. I have struggled all my life. It is all about attitude. You have to really want it. You have to want to get healthy more that you want that piece of cake or pizza. You have to look at the foods you used to crave, for me my weakness is bread and potatoes,,,you have to look at those foods and think to yourself,,,is eating that going to help me get to my goal of being fit and healthy? If the answer is NO, then you dont want to eat it. Be strong!

Sounds to me like a pretty balanced diet. I"m not sure about the quantity though. You of course need to burn more calories than you eat to loose weight, so the quantity is important.

It sounds like a bit much to me, but you weigh quite a bit more than me, and let's face it, you're not going to keep the weight off if you feel like you're starving when you diet After all, if you're hungry all the time, you won't be able to stick to the diet, and the minute you get off it you'll eat everything you want to make up.

A healthy rate of weight loss is about two pounds per week, which sounds maddeningly slow. At that rate you'll have lost 112 pounds in a year, which would put you down to 223 pounds.

That doesn't sound like much of a supermodel, but here's a secret: the "healthy" amount of weight to loose says nothing about where the weight goes. Also, weight and fatness are not the same. Muscle weighs a lot more than fat. 200 pounds of fat is still on the chubby side, but 200 pounds of muscle is mighty nice looking, although it's a little butch-looking on a woman.

Also, the more you exercise, the more you can eat and still loose weight. Four miles a day is pretty good, I don't think I could keep up that pace in an hour.

Good luck on the weight loss. It's a long process, but you seem to be on the right track to loosing it, and keeping it off. I bet you'll be one hot lady when you turn 19.

that sounds like too low calories, if you go too drastic your body can go into starvation mode and start hoarding the fat calories - thereby making you keep weight on. For your lunch in particular, I would eat a lot more than that, like at least add a couple of pieces of fruit and eat a ton of raw vegetables whenever you want... they have very few calories normally, learn to like them - like brocolli, squash, asparagus even. Asparagus has known weight loss chemical in it. The problem with diets is that they are always temporary, and once you are done with the diet and start eating "normally" again, you gain all the weight back and MORE. It is not reasonable for someone to eat that little bit of food each day for longer than a week, instead, what about joining a gym and going for 2 hours a day and doing the treadmill, etc. Then contact a dietician and they will lay out a sensible, lifetime eating plan that is not so extreme. I guarantee this diet won't last, they never do, sooner or later you get very sick of this kind of eating and go back to old habits. A dietician will work with what you like as much as possible and give you lots of reciipes, etc. Call your local hospital and they may refer you to someone there who holds free clinics or support groups. Good luck, I feel for you.

The crystal lite packages are great (i hate plain water). I would think that you are not eating enough. Maybe visit a dietitian. Try adding healthy snacks between meals. If you do not eat enough, the food your body takes in will be stored as fat (which is not what you want). Keep up the good thoughts, congrats on a healthier you.

yea, i think that;s great enough, keep up with the diet for a few months and u will see it works/

but there are a few things to remember:
1. choose low GI (glycemic index) food... they give u more steady glucose sources and most of them won't be converted to fat as in high GI one.
example of low GI food: oatmeal, whole wheat, whole grain and wholemeal products, pasta

2. be wise on your sugar/sodium intake. look at the food nutrition information when u buy something. it should be lower than 4,000 mg/100 g. too much sugar/sodium will cause body retention and makes u harder to lose weight

i lost 5 pounds just by not thinking of eating im serious. I just watch tv and do something fun so i get lazy to make food and i lost 5 pounds in just 3 days. this will work because i am burning more calories then i consume them. so lower calories with more excercise will burn all the fat there is trust me it will work i was 280 pounds and in a year i dropped 55 pounds of fat.
