Who is tired of the spamming on the religon and spirituality boards?

seriusly people this is stupid. I use this place to witness to people about christ. Not hear questions about finding bowling shoes that are the same color, or Godzilla versus Jesus. This needs to be stopped for real. who will join me?

several people have suggested that I go preach in church. well wouldn't that deafet the purpose of witnessing? if they already know the gospel then I'll let the pastor help them grow. but I am trying to teach new people. but this board is not being taken seriusly

and it is one sad day in the world when someone gets ridiculed for their beliefs

and all of you who don't believe in God and mock him. I am praying for you

i dont need conversion but i see the need is real. this is for religious disscussions weither people beleive in god is really up to you. choose the right!!

I will.But seriously I don't think there's anything anybody can do to change it.Unless there's some way I don't know about yet.I guess until then we can just ignore the ones who aren't serious and only answer questions from those who are.That's what I do but sometimes it's a little hard to tell if someone is sincerely wanting to know something about Christ or is just mocking him.But really it would be nice if the ones who just want to play around stayed off of the Christian area so we can help those who really need it.

Funny I come to answer questions, not hawk a particular religion like it was a "fallen off the truck" set of speakers... To me, the true spam is when a question is asked about something, and someone answers with the same played out cut and paste, usually about Islam or Christianity, and often having nothing to do with the question..
That spam I am tired of.

Maybe its time to go watch some TV. I find if I get annoyed it is best to leave the site for awhile. Don't get discouraged there is a lot of rubbish on here but every once in awhile your answer may help someone. That is all you can expect.

I don't want to read your religious spamming. I don't believe for one minute that there is anyone on this board who hasn't heard the gospel.
We lighten things up at times when necessary. It's part of the R&S experience, and I guarantee the majority here enjoy the break from seriousness all the time.

I'm tired of it because it tends to drown out the people with legitimate questions, but all that you can do is to simply ignore people who don't ask serious questions. They will go away and find some other form of amusement.

I believe it is called mocking and scoffing, not spamming. And so, what can be done? After all, Jesus said that in the end-times there would be scoffers and mockers of God.

I think that you are right and a lot of the contributors to these questions (R and S) are nothing more than what they claim Christians to be...pushy, arrogant, and trying to ram their religion (or lack of) down everyone else's throat...oh and don't forget intolerant...yea most definitely intolerant!!! Freedom of speech is great but unfortunately we are losing ours.

First off, this isn't a Christian run thing. Your church is. Why not go witness Jesus there?

Secondly, spam happens. To anyone who's serious about spirituality, meh. Us serious people really dun care much. It brings color to a really tense subject.

Third, even if you try to get it stopped, it'll find a way in. It always does. So please dun whine. Thanks
