you probably don't have to put it on high, but it won't hurt it. just make sure you leave it covered the whole time and use at least enough beer to stand about 2 inches inside the pot. sounds tasty!!

sure this will be ok, in fact, it will be scrumptous! While you are waiting for your food to cook, get some more beer and some rye bread to soak up all that goodness, yum!

This should be okay as long as you cook both thoroughly. About 4 hours should work.
