How do i Curl my hair with a curling iron??

evrytime i seem to curl my hair it looks like sh*t...and its not a nice bouncy/lock of a curl..its like a wave :( can anyone tell me whats the sercert? how should i hold the iron...where should the hair start? the top of thr iron? or bottom :( ladies help!!

dont have dry-dry hair, put on some curling mouse
take smalll section, comb thru, start at botto,/end of hair, have lock flat (combed), if curling iron has clip- put end of hair under, if not start winding from bottom of hair up towards scalp - wind irons not hair, get to just by roots, and hold for a minute or too, then loosen out, do next section

wait till hair cool before u loosen thru with fingers

i hold iron by handle and tip- has stay cool tip

wind in different directions to get natural look
