i burned a cd, it played fine in the house stereos, but it didnt work in the car. other cds play fine in the car though. this is the 2nd time its happened. whats wrong?

If it's a CD/RW it's not surprising. Stick with CDR's. Burn it at low speed and try different CDR brands. Car players tend to be pickier than home players. Also, don't use the extra capacity models. The 650MB discs are the most compatible with everything.

Not all Audio CD players are compatible with burnt CD's. Many times aftermarket CD players that are put in cars will not play burnt CDs, this is very common with older CD players. The new CD players generally will play burnt CD's. It has to do with the "write protector on the CD's" when they are burned. Not any option but to upgrade your CD player to a newer one that will play burnt CD's.

some car CD system lens cant read format disc try a disc that is made for music not a DVD or video mp3 format
