i have a oral b pulsar and the bateries are dead ??? how do i take them out

The lower part of the handle twists open, but it
takes a bit of torque to 'break the seal'. you can see the AAA battery sticking out about 1/3 of the way, with a metal contact on its electrode. If you look up into the lower handle, you'll see it has a sort of protrusion that keeps
the contactor on the battery. Unfortuneately, we mess that up by twisting the contactor out of the way to replace the battery. I use aluminum foil to fill in the gap that is made. If you decide to re-use your pulsar, twist the metal strip out of your way, don't pull it upward or it may snap.

the batteries stay. you take out those teeth if you want to avoid infection.
