Ohio is not a community property state.

If you are not a joint account holder on the cards, you cannot be held liable. If you are an authorized user on the cards, you cannot be held liable.

If you are an AU on the accounts and the accounts have gone bad, dispute them off of your credit reports.

Not sure about OH, but in IN and Il we are responsible for our spouses debt whether our name is on it or not. You should call a divorce lawyer who offers a free consulation to find out for sure.
