do guys generally say what they think a girl wants to hear or what they are really thinking?

It's been my experience that while this kind of behavior is not gender specific that women, politicians and sales people are more likely to tell you something just because they think it's what you want to hear. But then again, I am a male, so the women could be doing that to me because I am male. I know why the politicians and sales people do it. Not sure why women do it (probably the same reason: they want something).

They generally tell you what you wanna hear and not on purpose they are just wired that way if you ask and you immediately get an answer it is definitely what he wants you to hear. If he pauses he probably thought about telling the truth but still is telling you what you wanna hear.

Depends on the guy. Some guys are smooth talkers. Other guys say what they are thinking, partly because they are honest and partly because they haven't a clue what a girl wants to hear.

Depends on the guy.
Personally I don't have it in me to say mean things to girls even if they are true unless the situation REALLY calls for it.
There's this girl who sits next to me in class who I KNOW likes me, but I don't like her and she is always touching me and trying to be cute and I HATE IT. But I'm trying to send her the message without actually saying it. I sort of just ignore her now and not laugh at anything she does or try to make conversation with her.

I have been married for 3 years and relised guys very rarely ever say the right thing.... Now that most of my friends are married i know its just not me, guys and girls just dont understand each other.... We are wired diffrently... When i say what im thinking i was suppose to say what she wants to hear and vise versa.....

yeah actually we do say what a girl want to hear but we only mean it if we are real men. and not just trying to get in your pants.

Most guys will say anything they think you want to hear,,,rather its to get their own way, get what they want, or to keep from arguing about something,,,

they hardly EVER say what they are thinking... cos that is usually how to get into your panties, and that would scare you off... :D
