Why do people assume you are mature or experienced simply as older?
Get a lot of this thinking from parents especailly who assume often wrongly that just as someone is older they have done this & that so many times and have this & that interests as a result of getting mature from this experience.
But what f they dont get those experiences at the right ages?
Therefore get older but dont mature.
Dont progress.
Often due to sheltering, over protective parents who keep kids in the dark creating a vicious circle riple effect.
ie cant get a date at 18 as did not get one at 16,
Cent get a live in relationship at 21 as have not done all the sleeping around at 17 in some 18-30 holiday...
Ie you get older but nothing changes as simply aint got the experience everyone else has to compete & impress the opposite sex or cope with living on your own etc.
Why assume people are always all the same experience and maturty at each age. Not 24 with exp of ave16

And the reason why I know I know more is pretty much most parents Ive come accross since age 11 spout the same crap which bears no resemblance to all the things Ive seen in life.
Ie all these parents who have not got a clue what their kids get up to, insisting on this overprotection which screws them up for life.
The only parents Ive seen produce successful happy kids then adults where the open minded ex hippie types who were the only honest ones and non hypocritical ones.
Ie I dont give a damn what people think... I say it AS IT IS as I have directly experienced or seen others experience things or analysied evidence

Mostly what motivates is the level of pain I feel each day and have experienced, and seen in others messed up by this common head in the sand pretend real life does not exist.
Seen the happiness in couples and terrible hurt in the lonley.
Worked out what really hurts and harms and what does not, which groups are good and wich are not and the popular thinking is nearly always wrong

well seeing as i have an older brother whos 24 and is back home living with the rents for the 5 or 6 time in the past 7 years or so. i dont think age makes maturity. NEVER! if it did, maybe he could keep a job, get a house and maybe even a girlfriend that he could get married to. hes so far dropped out of college, dropped out of the army, dropped out of rehab from drugs. and seeing as im just 18 and im getting ready to start college this year, i feel like im ready i could move out. i just got my license so hopefully i will have a job and i can get a job so that moving out can become possibly in less than a year. I mean im much more mature than my brother. And this is not only my brother. i meet many many people who are 20-30 who seem to act almost as 15 year olds and younger. so AGE doesnt make the person more mature or less mature.

Well as a general rule the more you live your live the more mature you become, but your maturity level may be in one or two areas. Quite frankly what makes a person mature just because they have slept with someone. It is a state of mind, and just because you have the experiance does not mean that it has made you mature.

i did no longer study all of it... i could assume so, because of the fact i don't have the potential to comprehend what a 20-365 days previous could pick from a sixteen-365 days previous, as maximum (study: maximum) sixteen-365 days previous females are nonetheless particularly immature, and that i could say somebody 20 is in many situations previous that... So, i could in simple terms ask your self why he needs a newborn, whilst he ought to get somebody extra mature... it is in comparison to this in each case, of direction, and that i ask your self extra approximately it whilst the age gaps are greater, yet _that_ is why I each so often ask your self why older adult males/females are with youthful adult males/females.

I don't really make judgements about people based on their age. I have seen plenty of mature young people, and a ton of immature adults.

The evidence of maturity is usually seen in what we choose to worry about.

why are your questions so long but also trying to answer your own questions?and some dont make any sense
how old are you? why do you always feel you know better then adults/parents
as parents we do the best we can/want for our children and should'nt be condemned for it,or have to answer for what we believe to be right for our kids
and being older means we know a lot more as we've been around longer, common sense should tell you that

"Why do people assume you are mature or experienced simply as older?" Because we've expierenced more crap than those who are younger.
