Hi Tiff. I do not know what infirmity is (My first language is not english). However I was a sufferer of panic attacks that turned into agoraphobia. What I can tell you is that you can overcome the panic attacks with medication and breathing techniques. The trick is never to be afraid of a panic attack. Panic attacks last a certain time. If you are not afraid of them they will stop after a while. If you are scared of them you will get another panic attack. Remember to breath deep, practice yoga and acupuncture. The spiritual explanation of panic attacks is that a spirit is trying to enter your body (attack) and that is why your bodys protective system sets on. (This is why you have symptoms of shortness of breath, chest pain, heart bumping really fast, etc). After 1 year of treatment with prozac (antidepressant) and seizure (anti seizure) I was back into my life. Now I can go to open spaces full of people and do not feel uncomfortable. Do they interfere with your life? Are you able to leave the house to go to work, school or to socialize?
