"There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell." - Isaiah 40:22
"He is stretching out the north over the empty place,
Hanging the earth upon nothing." - Job 26:7
"All the winter torrents are going forth to the sea, yet the sea itself is not full. To the place where the winter torrents are going forth, there they are returning so as to go forth." - Ecclesiastes 1:7

Another reason why you can put your trust in the Bible is that when it comes to scientific matters, what this ancient book states is accurate. For example, at a time when most people believed that the earth was flat, the Bible spoke of “the circle [or, sphere] of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22) And over 3,000 years before the famous scientist Sir Isaac Newton explained that the planets are held in empty space by gravity, the Bible poetically stated that ‘the earth is hanging upon nothing.’ (Job 26:7) Consider also this poetic description of the earth’s water cycle, recorded some 3,000 years ago: “All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.” (Ecclesiastes 1:7, New International Version) Yes, the Creator of the universe, Jehovah God is also the Author of the Bible.

You need to go back to school and relearn geometry, as it is well known that a circle is not a sphere. The common belief of the time was that the world was a flat disk and the sky was a solid dome above it. The stars, moon, sun, and planets were not very large and were embedded in this dome; that is why you have stories of God stopping the sun and moon, as if they were pieces on a game board that could be moved about.
Above the dome was a great reservoir of water, which you can read about in Genesis when God separates the waters above from the waters below (oceans, rivers, etc.) with a firmament. The firmament is the dome--as the word suggests, it was considered firm and solid. Rain came from the reservoir above the dome, which contained windows or doors--you can read about this in Genesis, too, when God "opened the floodgates of heaven" to let out the water for the noachian flood.
None of this, of course, is backed up by science; it was the worldview of people who lacked science entirely and had to make up explanations based on what made sense to them. They could see the sun and stars going around the Earth, so it made sense to them that the entire universe revolved around Earth. We now know that our world is insignificant, one of countless other worlds in the cosmos, and our galaxy is a collection of billions of stars just like any other. The Bible is filled with myth, fables, astrology, and folklore, but no science. You only think so because you look at it with modern viewpoints that the ancient writers did not have.

The Baha'i Writings state that it is...
"This book is the Holy Book of God, of celestial Inspiration. It is the Bible of Salvation, the Noble Gospel. It is the mystery of the Kingdom and its light. It is the Divine Bounty, the sign of the guidance of God."

Ephesians says All scripture is inspired by God.
that does not mean just the bible, it does not mean just the Koran, it does not mean the Talmud alone!
Add to this ALL the books of ancient antiquity and what Jesus said about SEEKING Every Good book and you still dont have a TEMPLE University of God DEGREE in the words of God and the knowledge of all necessary mysteries.

Man created god in his image, not the other way around. The bible is so full of contradictions and inaccuracies that if it were inspired by a god, it must have been a pretty ignorant one,
