My brother had his eye brow pierced once and he said it hurt like hell. I think an industrial piercing would be the least painful but I'm sure they both hurt a lot.

It depends on you. I have an industrial and love it! I'm not so much into facial piercings beyond nose but that's just me. If you want your eyebrow pierced, get it done at a shop. The pain factor is all about you. I have a freakishly high pain tolerance and my industrial only tickled then was tingly. It never really hurt at all in the piercing process. If you aren't so good with pain ... two needles and then an inch and a half bar might be too much for you. Talk to a professional piercer in your area and ask them to show you the different jewelry and ask how they do it.

I don't know from experience on either one, to be honest.

But professionally- the industrial is much more socially accepted. If you want a piercing you can actually keep and not have to worry about for most jobs, go with that. The eyebrow is cool and well when you're young or if you have a job that allows them, but most don't.

well the eyebrow is just skin and the industrial has cartilage, so i think the cartilage would hurt more. i got my left eyebrow peirced over the summer and it didn't hurt too bad. i have a low pain tolerance. but if you just relax and breathe like they tell you, it doesn't hurt too badly. the pain goes away and then it just kinda throbs. don't take pain killers before hand though because it will thin your blood and increase the chances of bleeding. it hurts if it gets infected so either way just clean it a lot. i suggest using band-aids antiseptic wash that has the pain killer stuff in it for cleaning. it works great and gets rid of pain if it's hurting.

I have an industrial and it hurt a bit, I would get that instead of the eyebrow because you can hide it and its a little less in your face(no pun intended)

I have my eye brow, got it when i was 16 and i still love it more than anything! People forget its there after awhile, and only 2 jobs told me too take it out, one was in south carolina and the other was a nanny job. Most people just cringe cause they think it hurts. Mine didn't hurt at all when it was done. Just try the pinch test...
