that is what I would have recommended - it is easy and fast to make, so why not make it fresh just before the party?

I don't really have any other ideas. Maybe you could mix yogurt and whip cream together and add actual fruit in it. You could add strawberries or something. You should make any dip the day of, because you want it to be fresh since you are using refrigerated ingredients.

The dips you want to use are good. You may try whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Your dips should be made the day of your party then refrigerated.

The chocolate should be served warm so look online for the best recipes for that.

6 oz white chocolate
1 cup whipping cream
8 oz marscapone cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Melt 6 ounces chopped white chocolate with 1/2 cup whipping cream in a medium metal bowl set over a saucepan of gently simmering water. Remove the bowl from water and let the chocolate cool to room temperature.
In another medium bowl, whisk 1/2 cup whipping cream, one 8 ounce container mascarpone cheese, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until blended and smooth. Fold melted chocolate into mascarpone.

OR

2 cups vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Poppy seed dressing is excellent with fruit, also with avacados. You get it in most supermarkets. Also, a bowl of flakey coconut. Whipped cream should be whipped just before serving. Yogart can be done ahead of time.

A simple and delicious dip is to use one large jar of marshmellow cream and an 8oz bar of cream cheese. Mix together and refrigerate until time to serve. It is delicious and simple!
