I need to find professional information about the pulpectomy process.

Do you have any websites that show each stage of the pulpectomy in the same way as it would be taught to a dentist.

I'm a dentist.

I can sum up the procedure, in detail, in about a paragraph.

An access to the pulp system of the tooth is made. Files (or barbed broaches) are inserted into the root canals to remove the nerve. The root canals are then filed a little more, usually up to a size 20 or 25 file (although this varies from doctor to doctor). The canals are irrigated thoroughly (often with sodium hypochlorite) and are subsequently dried with paper points. An intrapulpal medicament (such as calcium hydroxide) may be placed in the canals. A cotton pellet (sometimes dipped in a fixative such as formocresol) is placed in the pulp chamber, and a temporary filling material (such as IRM or Cavit) is placed over the prepared area to cover protect the cotton pellet and the root canals.

Depending on the tooth's history (and the patient's medical history), we may prescribe antibiotics. Often times we prescribe pain medications as well.
