i was about 9. it didnt really effect me and nothinf really big has effected me in adult life. my brother was 10 tho, and he was badly effected. he had more problems when he went to live with my dad and my dad remarried. he then came back to mums and ignored her till he moved out at 18. he's an odd one and has recently said he remembers nothing from his childhood cos it was a bad one. until the seperation, we had a fantastic home life and were spoilt.

my mum was a terrible mum as a single parent, very selfish, leaving us alone most nights, even putting us to bed as 10 year olds and going out drinking. all three of us kids do have negative memories of her but as an adult, i am the only one who gives her any respect.

It affected me alot my parents split up when i was 8 and I am 24. My mom is not mental stable and my dad has issues. I have not lived in a stable home since they split up and things got harder. In some situations it made me stronger but sometimes i wonder what would be happened if they stayed together.my life has alot of ups and down and has affected me alot. I didn't have a good childhood and I get sad sometimes so yes it did affect me but i try to go on with life.

my parents were always fighting ever since i was 4 yrs old, and i was seperated from them. i used to remember hiding in my closet because i was so scared. it really affected me in a bad way on the other hand, it made me stronger. i know more about how children can affect your relationship. and if it happens again, i will know what to do.
There is nothing i can do about the past but i would like to live the way it was b4. but i rather not think about it and llive fo the future and prevent it from ever happening again.

I was 3, my brother was 9. I think he was effected by it more but for me, I didn't really understand. I grew up with my mom mostly seeing my dad in the summer, everyother weekend the whole year, and on school vacations. It was fine up to a few years ago and now I hate living with my mom. Everyday its like iving in hell. I'm trying to move into my dad's house for High School

My mother left my father when I was 6 months old, then remarried, then he cheated on her so they divorced, then she married an abusive husband and 5 years later divorced him. I very much liked when he was gone, but I like my new step father and I keep in touch with my real father frequently.
I am 22 years old now and each divorce effected me differently.

Truth to tell, I am more happy they are divorced than when they were married. That's all you will get from me, sorry.
