I delivered my daughter Alexandra just over 5 weeks ago. I would have been contributing to online sports forums, but now I am contributing in the Family and fathers with no idea sections of the web. What happening to me?

My baby is 13 months old now. Her father delivered her in a birthing center. He said he loved the experience. He passed away when she was six months old. He didn't get much time with her, but he made the most of it. You are a father now and your children are precious. Make the most of it. There will come a time when you will be interested in sports and other "manly" things again. Just go with it and enjoy!

If delivering my son had been up to his father, I'd have died in childbirth. No way I'd want him (or any other untrained man) delivering a kid - men panic too easily.

Congratulations, you have become a father and a grown-up man. That is a great accomplishment.
