Even if I sleep for 8 hours, I feel "groggy" all day! like I'm "floating", sometimes, kinda like the feeling you get when taking allergy pills or cough syrup...

There could be several things. To help you can:
1) Exercise more. It will give you energy.
2) Eat less carbohidrates. If you eat too many, and you probably do to wake you up, you get an instant energy boost, but then you feel tired all day. So avoid sugars, eat more protein (meat)

Your body is probably lacking vitamins. I take one every day, it's a simple one, Flinstone ones actually, they work like a charm. When I do not take one in the morning, my body gets tired, I was ill for a few days & did not take it, I felt how you do. You may also be depressed, check with your doctor to make sure that everything is ok with you though. But I suggest a daily vitamin, this should help.

that happens to me too. sometimes when i get 6-7hrs of sleep, i feel more awake. normally, i ty to work out during the day, especially when i feel tired. I also take B vitamins and emergen-c which has a lot of b vitamins and vitamin c in it. b vitamins are geat for enegy!

You might just always feel tired because you just are stressed out with stuff or something.....

Go have a check up, maybe you have low iron , (anemia).
