I have liked this guy for a while and we have become such close friends. I wanted to become more than that so i asked him out. All my friends were happy for me because they thought he liked me too. I thought i was going to have my first bf.
Anyways, he said that he liked me but "only as a friend." I guess i should be happy that we are still close friends but i still feel that we should be more than that. He is so sweet cuz, even though he rejected me he doesn't treat me any different. We still walk and talk together in the hallway. I still feel a spark,... or i think so.
Please give me some guidence. I don't what to do about the situation.

There is nothing you can do except accept his decision unless you want to lose his friendship. I would look elsewhere for a boyfriend.

Just be yourself if a particular guy reacts this way. He seems to be a naive type. You should call it a blessing as you will meet someone who loves you even more. No one is perfect in this world. if you felt he rejected you then he is actually rejecting himself. He will miss alot of wonderful people in this world and only get to know unpleasant people who have the same character as him.
Trust me you will for sure get to know more wonderful people than him.

This happened to me too. Just give it time! Make him start regreting that he said that he just wants to be friends. Wear your best outfits you have and just look your best! try to hang out with him and talk to him more than usual. Remember to be yourself and don't change because of him! Be yourself and u just might get lucky.....=]

yea i feel i can relate...i dun kno how lol but i do... ur lucky he was honest enought to tell u and ur lucky tht he was nice about it...i tink u should move on..but talk to him about it..tell him tht u still lik him and tht u want to move on but cant cuz u truelly feel theres somtin there...if he says there isnt anytin there..dont be bummed... move on theres probably tons of guys tht r into u tht r as sweet as he is... try it.

just stay friendz its better than nothin sooner or later he will realize if he likes u as more than a friend or not just dont lose hope u never know ;)
