Often I think the definition varies a tad for each person. To me, love is something that develops more intensely each with someone - as long as you still care for them, and even if you're not getting along perfectly all the time. You see, people aren't perfect. Every boyfriend you have had, have, or will have, will never be perfect. What makes it seem perfect in the beginning is the lust factor - which disappears after a year or two. What's left is just love, affection, and or care for them whether their perfect or not. You have to trust them. You also have to consider how they feel about you. As far as sex goes, it's necessary in a relationship - but not the most important at all. Things need to be balanced. You need to have normal dates and times together as well. Relationships are complex, and can only be completely understood by you if you experience them with a partner whose putting in as much effort as you are. Over time you'll learn all of the answers to your questions together.

Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you're in love, you always want to be together, and when you're not, you're thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete.
This love is unconditional affection with no limits or conditions: completely loving someone. It's when you trust the other with your life and when you would do anything for each other. When you love someone you want nothing more than for them to be truly happy no matter what it takes because that's how much you care about them and because their needs come before your own. You hide nothing of yourself and can tell the other anything because you know they accept you just the way you are and vice versa.
It's when they're the last thing you think about before you go to sleep and when they're the first thing you think of when you wake up, the feeling that warms your heart and leaves you overcome by a feeling of serenity. Love involves wanting to show your affection and/or devotion to each other. It's the smile on your face you get when you're thinking about them and miss them.
Love can make you do anything and sacrifice for what will be better in the end. Love is intense, and passionate. Everything seems brighter, happier and more wonderful when you're in love. If you find it, don't let it go.

Love is to say the least a strange thing. Love is when no matter what that other person does you still can't be mad at them you can't hate them. That person would hurt you or even kill you and you could never fight back or hurt them. No matter what differences you have you still are together. It's not sex and it's not because you think someones hot. It's not even about wether or not you both have tons in common. It's about the little things. The way he grins, or the way he looks at you and you suddenly know everything he's about. Everything he's thinking and feeling.
It's knowing everthing about eachother. Knowing ever talent and every fault. And loving them for both.

You need to know one thing that you are already learning. You can love someone but the other person maybe the wrong match or he maybe going in a direction that doesn't match yours.Love is not perfect. That's what i thought when i was younger and i was in love with my girlfriend. She was just a different person than me and ultimately we went our separate ways. There cannot be blame in love.If things don't work out then you hurt over it for awhile and you to move on.No finger pointing. You can't make another person feel the same way you feel about them.Love is not forced but automatically felt.
Love is also about letting go.I know that hurts but it is a component of love.Let your emotions out because that is who you are.
I hope things work out for you and that you get back on track.

With my brain, I don't believe in the 'true' concept of love, I believe that it is a biochemical reaction that takes place in the brain, similar to the effect of several drugs, a kind of instinct instilled in us based on the instinct of reproducing and carrying on with the species, an instinct all animals have, but we 'animals' have taken far further by adding 'feelings' and sentimentality, and so on.
Once upon a time, when I was an idealist, I believed in the ideal of love, much as I believed in God - you didn't ever actually seem to meet it, but you knew it existed. Now I don't believe in either of them, and think 'love' is little more than an obsessive-compulsive neurological state.
At the same time, in my 'heart' I still like to believe there's more to it than that. I guess I have become embittered by experience.

Love in my eyes is being totally comfortable with someone, dispite flaw and differences-to care more for that individual than for yourself-and finding that that person makes you feel complete, like you need nothing else.
That is what it was to me. Infatuation is simply exaggerated passion, which is apparently love in today's world. Sad no? Never the less, I believe that love exists.
Best of luck.

For me, Love is more powerful than anything. There are different kinds of love, you never love two people the same way. It`s always different. Love is, feeling safe, feeling secure, feeling like you can do and overcome anything together, feeling like you don`t have to apologize for who you are. Love is unconditional. I think you are thinking about it way too much and drive yourself crazy. Just go with your feelings rather than overanalyzing everything and you will feel much better!

Well love is like an ocean that has pull on you. You can stay afloat as much as you can and then when you get tired, it pulls you under. So my definition of love that I believe in is simply this....... Love pronounced (Luve) An ocean that will pull you under and drown you with kindness and compassion. Causes you pain you want and suffering your willing to endure. Physical and Emotion bonding is involved.

My definition of love is when the person your with will do anything for you. Like they would take their life for yours. That they would stick up for you no matter what will happen. No I don't believe in love cuz I got hurt to many times.
