He's into everything and he pretty much has everything. I'm fresh out of ideas. I am willing to spend $90,000 on something. Please don't say a car because I'm already buying him one. It's not his birthday but I want to get him a gift just because. Here are some of the things I have gotten him:Car,the Xbox 360,the PS3,the Wii,6 new computers,a 108 inch tv,Directv,A new wardrobe(every season it changes),the finest education, and the latest electronics.

I would take him to Europe for the summer. Hit Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany. I took my son when he was 6. It made a huge impression, and he still talks about it today, especially the Tour de France and the Trevi Fountain. I think it would be a wonderful experience for a teen. Plus, I think he could probably drink(and let's call a spade a spade-what do most teens really want to do?). Or you could take him to a less glamorous country so that he can start to appreciate all the you are able to give him. By the way, I'm really sorry that it seems you have fallen on such hard times. I'll be thinking of you tonight when I close the door to my cardboard box.

Maybe the problem isn't getting him a new gift. There's nothing wrong with loving your children but spoiling them is a bad idea. Children that are giving everything never learn to manage there money properly, never have to fend for themselves and take advantage of there fortunate lives. The occasional big gift is fine, but your list is ridiculous, I know from my parents that life is not always fun and games, a spoiled child never gains appretiation for the small things in life. Like the love of a mother and father. Love is the greatest gift of all, it can't be bought, try spending quality time with him, you might be suprised what a big gift that is in its self.

How about taking the $90,000 and donating it to a charity in the name of your son. Sounds like he has everything...especially a pathetic father that has no parenting skills but wrote the book on "How To Buy Your Child's Love." Is this even a real question...Dr. Moron?

You can buy a lot of expensive gifts but they're all meaningless if your not there spending the right quality time with him. If you know your son at all, then I would have thought you would know exactly what to buy. Perhaps, you should be looking at more meaningful things to DO and not just BUY things to make up for lost time.
Buy what you want but I certainly hope that your gifts are not just to make up for lost time and guilt for not being there. There will come a time, when these meaningless gifts, will just not be enough.

I am having a hard time believing if you are for real about this question. Why on earth would you be spending that much money on a 16 year old? Even if you've got it- why would you flaunt it? There is something to be said about being wealthy and understated.

It would be very difficult to answer this without knowing your son. Ask him what he really wants. Sorry, but this is all the help that I can give. You should know your son very well, when you see something that he would like, you'll know. Just shop around.

WOW. I guess he realize how much $$$ you love him. Why don't you ask him since money is no object. I guess he has already had greatest party u could think of. In this case i would ask him. Sit down a show him more love and ask the question.

A gift card this way he can get what he wants. He sounds pretty spoiled though...You are doing him a misjustice by giving him so much.Kids don't enjoy things when they have everything. Plus he won't have all this at first when he gets older and takes care of himself. You not helping him.

Why dont you make him something. Something that you made with your two hands. Or you can do a father-son activity together. Like go on a cruise. Or hunting if you are into that.
