I've little doubt many of them do. My bigger concern is that Bush DOES believe the "end times" are here and it's up to him to move the process along. I'd much rather believe he's just pretending.

Absolutely. Religion is a political tool. No one would elect an atheist to public office if they knew the politican was an atheist. Every atheist claims religion when they want to be elected and usually claim the most fundamental sect too.
