Yes I believe in God. Yes there is indisputable evidence all about us, both natural and supernatural that Jesus was with him when the universe was created.
Now this will get your goat (to quote a line from the Matrix): Mankind was also there; albeit in an observational capacity.
But Jesus came on the scene when God spoke in the first chapter of Genesis -"Let there be light!" and there was light. Furthermore, the bible states in the book of John, (as it describes the divinity and incarnation of Jesus Christ) the following:
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him nothing was made.” What this means is literally that without the Word being spoken, nothing could have or would have came into being.
It further states; “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” We all know from our elementary science lessons that mankind wouldn't exist where there is no light; light gives life. Science could never argue with that simple fact. What’s more often debated are the unscientific principles of light. Some religions of the world define this unscientific light as enlightenment. But, fail to see (realize) that the form of light they speak of or chase after yet eludes them. It eludes them because one cannot attain to something that already exists within and without. What is perceived in enlightenment is partial and simply that - a form of light. It is not THE light. Jesus alone is the way the truth and the life (aka the light that orchestrates life). The bible identifies the momentary glimpses of the real as “a form of Godliness” that completely denies the power of the true light.
Simply put; God said something, it came to pass, the something he spoke (his word) was powerful enough to become a living entity that not only created the remainder of existence but came to dwelled among us for a season in time just so it could relate to us and clarify what had become distorted – his Law. God spoke and the universe happened. God spoke and his son appeared and by his son was all things created both what we know and what we have yet to know.
Even in today's cultures, a man/woman is known for or by his/her word(s). What they say determines so much more than what is seen. We conceive a thought and we bring it to light (into being/existence) by speaking it. The bible even clarifies and gives solid witness to the truth that "life and death is in the power of the tongue" and that the tongue is the rudder of life. Because we were created in the "image" of God, we too have the power to create life or create death by what we say. What we say also governs the paths we make and take in this life into the next.
So, yes, I believe in God. Yes I firmly believe that Jesus was on the scene when the universe was created. The constellations and the wonders alone on this planet declare it in all of its remarkable splendor and majesty. Mankind is still discovering the remarkable still on this earth, hidden from natural sight and exposed yet not clearly understood. For me it is all simple yet all complex as we humans tend to be.

Yes I believe in one God. "There is one God, though humanity calls It by many names." Rig Veda 1:164.46. I believe that all religions lead to God and that no matter what name you call God by, that the one God hears and responds.
