The chemicals aren't going to wash out because they've been absorbed by your hair already. Just wait a week or else your hair will be frizzy.

id say the longest without washing your hair the best, wear your hair in a loose pony tail while its still doing its thing, you want nice hair right? so you can wait a couple days, but try at least 3 days, the longer the better:)
