Please no answers like make her a dr.'s appointment because this just started today......She had peed like3 or 4 times every hour...since about noon...is this normal for every now and then....is it sugar....if anyone has any ideas of what's going on please help it worries me...

What does her urine look like? If it is clear, she is fine. If it is cloudy, that could be an infection, and would require her to take antibiotics. If it is also bloody, that would be a kidney infection and needs treatment right away. I know it is the weekend and you cannot make a Dr. Appt., but if the situation gets worse, you should call an emergency room and get their advice.

I would'nt be worried .... if it's just for one day but if this keeps going on for 2 or 3 days it could point out to many a conditions i have listed the most probable with associated complaints ...

1. urinary tract infection - fever , vomitting , diarrhoea
2. diabetes - history of recurrent infections , weight loss
3. diabetes insipidus
4. syndrome of inappropriate
antidiuretic hormone secrtion ( SIADH)

It could be normal, however if she has pain or stinging she may have a UTI( urinary tract infection) 6 yr old girls are prone to them. keep her hydrated, make sure she is wiping correctly from now on(from front to back), keep her clean. Cranberry AZO over the counter will help. but i would make a MD Appt you should never self diagnose with a child cause they can never really tell you whats wrong.

1 BLADDER OR KIDNEY INFECTION
2..DIABETES
DIABETES IS FREQUENT URINATING
THIRSTY ALOT , TIRED , IRRITABLE
CRANKY, VOMITING MEANS THEIR KETONACIDOSIS( MEANS BLOOD SUGARS ARE EXTREMELY HIGH , ALSO MEANS KETONES IN THE BLOOD) WATCH FOR FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS ..
