Love - means to me as being able to love unselfishly and being able to share and loving with all of you.

lust - means craving for something that we really want. and sometimes this what makes us weak in a moment, make a mistake, perhaps a moral fall.

Love is all about looking for someones well being without expecting somthing back. Love walks in when everything else has walked out. True love is what a mother has for her children (just an e.g.)

Lust is merely a craving, a strong desire that makes people act on impulse. it stirs up hot feelings and arouses the passion but sadly it does not last. It happens at the heat of the moment then quickly evaporates.

Hi NewDude96. This is what God teaches when he commands us to love Him with all our Heart. First let me post this verse. The Lord was speaking to a scribe who asked him "which is the first commandment of all?" Jesus says in Mark 12:30:

"And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment."

The Lord told the scribe that the greatest commandment is to love God. When a person loves the Lord with all of His heart, it means that with his whole essence he loves the Lord. God describes this "heart" love in
Matthew 6:21:

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." This is also taught in Matthew 12:34-35:

"Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things."

Where your treasure is there you will find your heart. Everyone should ask himself the question, "Is God the greatest treasure in my life or does someone or something else occupy that place?"

What is the most important thing is your life? God demands that He have first place in a person's life.
