Are they the same with just different brand names or are they different in the ingredients?

We are Coke fans. There really is a difference-Pepsi has a wimpy taste. I tried it
once and threw it out. My husband would be very sick if he drank it. I can't figure
out all the hype about Pepsi. : }

No they are definitely not the same. Each one has its
patented formula. Each one has its own distinctive
taste. I prefer Coke over Pepsi. It tastes less sweet and simply tastes better to me. Its level of carbonation is right for me.

Others naturally prefer Pepsi over Coke. They
simply like its taste better. Probably they like
the sweeter taste.

As for the ingredients, I can't be for sure, but
I would guess that the ingredients are very, very
similar....just the proportions of each per recipe
are different.

Some people say there is no difference between
KFC chicken and the fried chicken you get at WalMart.
But, oh there is. Again, its the ingredients of what
the chicken is cooked in that is the difference.

Coke used to have cocaine in it. Now it only has an extract of coca leaves to add flavor, but no "active ingredient" besides caffeine.

Coke tastes better. Pepsi used to taste better, but they keep monkeying with the ingredients and now it tastes like a weak RC knockoff.

Which is also better than Pepsi.

They are very similar.
There is a slight difference between the both, that you're going to have to see for yourself. Everybody can usually taste a different difference.
But the main reason, I think, is that they are two different companies, both with nearly identical ingredient, trying to win everyone over using commercials, billboards, design of cups, etc.

I think pepsi is a little sweeter
coke is more acity and bubbly
I think that is about the only difference, I have not had a soda in ages. Now when ever I have one they all taste the same to me.

they are different due to name as well as recipe.

read the label

maybe you will not drink either after you do.

nothing but caramelized , artificially colored and flavored crap.

not the best choice for a beverage esp for growing kids and teens.

you need more nutritional beverages to support healthy teeth as well as a good nutrient return on your calories consumed.

labels list ingredients from most present to least present.

chances are it will say water, sugar is some form which is any compound ending is ose.

hope this helps.
