No. I'd want to follow someone who wins, not loses like Jesus did.

I dont think I can realisticly say if i would beleive him or not. I Love him and have faith in him now of course but would i believe him back then or not Hmmm. This is an interresting question. I might thought him a mad man or the stories ficticous. Wondered why people wanted to hurt him and heard the propaganda. Hmmmm... I really couldnt say. Hopefully i would have believed but the bible says I believe many people will be tricked by anti christs thinking they are really Jesus and they will be smart people who is tricked. Who knows I just know I believe in him now lol

No. There was no Jesus at the time specified in all the writings, so I would not have joined the group.

It's really hard to accept, but Jesus is a made-up character that has never been historically proven. To this day, the only documentation available is the text of the four gospels, and they are rewrites of older texts from a number of souces--from the Buddha to the Dead Sea Scrolls.

My imagination cannot stretch to make real fictional characters. It is too difficult to imagine even wanting to do such a thing.

Christian isn't a title for people who go to church. It's the meaning that shows the love people give to God. Even christians, however, can't stop jesus from being crucified, because according to the bible, the reason god sent jesus was for him to be crucified. so if u stopped his crucafictoin, u would be stopping god.

I was going to answer this question a little differently until I read one of the answers with a predestination take on it. I believe he/she is absolutely correct. After all Zacchaeus up there in that tree probably never figured he might become a follower of Christ and than consider those fishermen at work when the Christ walked by and they were impelled by the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus. Our coming to him has always been and always will be his doing not ours.

I would love Him, no doubt. But without belief in His resurrection, one cannot be a Christian. I think a lot of atheists acknowledge Jesus as a historical figure, and even will go so far as to say they agree with His teachings. But they do not believe in His resurrection.

I AM CHRISITIAN SINCE I WAS 19 YEARS (NOW NEARLY 65) OF AGE AND CHRIST REVEALED HIMSELF FOR ME WITHOUT A PREACHER .I HAD BIG FIGHTS WITH BIBLE CRITICISING THEOLOGIANS THAT WANTED TO DESTROY MY NEWFOUND FAITH IN CHRIST UNTIL I ASKED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IF I SHOULD HEED TO THE ANSWERS OF THE THEOLOGIANS OR NOT AND HE ANSWERED ME
>: IF YOU DONT TAKE THE BIBLE AS I WANT YOU CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE AT ALL."
SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE THE BIBLE AS CHRIST WANTS IT TO BE DONE AND AS THE APOSTLES DID AND I AM DOING VERY WELL
" MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE AND A STRANGER THEY WILL NOT FOLLOW BUT FLEE FROM HIM" (JOHN CHAPTER 10). THERE IS NOWADAYS SO MANY DECEIUTPFULL VOICES IN THE NAME OF RELIGION AND CHRISTANITY AND YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEM WITH THE BIBLE AND IF THEY CONTRACDICT THE BIBLE YOU TAKE THE WORD OF GOD AND LEAVE MAN MADE EXPLANTIONS AND TAKE THE BIBLE IN THE WAY CHRSIT WANTS YOU TO TAKE THE BIBLE. REMEMBER IT WAS CHRIST AFTER AND BEFORE THE RESURRECTION THAT TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES THE BIBLE AND HE OPENED THEIR UNDERSTANDING TO THE SCRIPTURES IN GODS OWN WAY AND IF YOU DO THAT AND GE INTO THE MIND OF CHRIST THEN YOU WILL FIND NO CONTRADICTION IN THEH BIBLE AND THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL REVEAL THE TRUTHH OF THE BIBLE AND YOU GET STRONG NOT MATTER WHAT OTHERS SAY AND DO . YOU MUST HAVE GOD GIVEN REVELATION THAT IS BASED AND CONFIRMED BY THE WORD OF GOD THE BIBLE.ANY " REVELATION" THAT CONTRADICTS THE BIBLE IS A "DEVILATION"

If you lived in His time, you wouldn't be a Christian. The Christian religion hadn't been formed yet. You would be Jewish, following the Jewish Messiah.

I definitely would have been a Christian. But, I HOPE I would have had the courage to stand and say, "I am a Christian." Thank God for his Grace.

I think it would be a whole lot easier "for those who do not see me and still believe will be bless" sometimes its really hard to keep faith alive in ones self. Seeing is believing!
