People are attracted to opposites really - that's what I think.

You see it in friendships as well - a typical confident friend and a slightly shyer or more worrying friend - and they balance each other.

It's not so much "nice" and "bad" people. But a nice guy and a nice girl would maybe get sick of each other as maybe they would both be so unbelievably kind to each other they would get bored. Hehe.

I am always ALWAYS attracted to nice guys who treat me really nicely - so I guess that makes me a "mean" girl?

But I'm never mean to them - I think there just always has to be one of the two who likes the other more - or one that is slightly more dependant on the other. It always always happens.

Oh + as an example for two "mean" people - they would think each other were disrespectful + did not treat them as they deserved and argue and split.

My opinion anyway : ) hope this kind of helps

Wow you must be able to read minds.

Ok that was cheesy but I have thought that too.

I mean you constantly hear about girls complaining that there guy is a lier, a cheater, that their exes treated them horrible. You hear from guys about girls cheating, using them, etc. But the ones that may click the best never seem to meet.

If I could find the answer to that question I know I would be a much happier person than I am now since I dated one of those girls that I thought was nice and sweet but turned out to be immature and childish.

It seems to happen that way most of the time. However, I know a few people that are perfect for each other. It's just a chance that you take when you meet someone. If you meet someone that starts to treat you badly, then just leave and never have anything to do with that person.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. Not blowing smoke up your a** it is the "thrill ride" effect. Girls like butt nugget men for reasons they are edgy, exciting, and a little dangerous. They figure they are not going to have a boring afternoon at the hall of science but out clubbing or doing something wild. Good guys seem to sappy, weak, boring and unable to protect them, and they do not command the respect of strangers than some thug would. Seeing this, some potential good guys will step over to "the dark side" because that is who the girls are seeing(and not making fun of as a geek)

Guys like to chose bad girls because they give it up quicker, and are said to be a tiger in the sack. They are believed to take it in every major orifice and let you finish in each. What did the song say? "Don't you wish your g/f was hot like me? Don't you wish your g/f was freak like me? A bad girl is like having the 400hp sports car. All the other guys will think "you da man!" when you show up with her, because they wish she was with them. She gives them street cred. The good girl is only desired if she is thought to be very green and often still a virgin because then there is a priceless prize in being the 1st to land her naked in bed.

"Thrill ride" syndrome, everyone wants to feel like danger is a possibility while still being safe in their own bed.

Its because good guys like bad girls and good girls like bad guys. Its dumb but usually true and a phase that I went through and i learned a lot and it also took a lot out of me. Its hard to find good people anyways, period. Its a stupid rule of attraction but a lot of the times very true. If people stop looking skin deep things would be a lot easier and a lot less people would be hurt.;) Impossible right? In this world it almost is.

What's the punchline of that old joke? All the nice guys already have boyfriends?

It's because for years and years the nice girls were attracted to the "bad boys". And now the nice guys are trying to be bad boys so they can get the girls.

Why? because someone has to be the bad guy in a relationship gone south. I have never heard of a relationship ending because everything was great and they were good to one another. You see when something goes wrong we as people have to find a reason why or at the very least justify it.

Hi Alexa,
Actually, your question has a relatively simple answer.
Both guys and girls SAY they want a good mate, but really
what they're looking for is "excitement". Well, let's face it, good guys and girls ARE NOT exciting. They are dependable
and reliable, clean and safe, courteous and polite, in other
words, they are DULL!! Because nasties are exciting, many
guys and girls are attracted to them.
It would really be easy to find the right person for you, if you
knew EXACTLY what they really wanted--not just what they
SAY they want.

Because nice guys are not attractive to women and good girls are usually shy and play hard to get... and who are the experts in getting hard-to-get girls? The good or the bad ones?
