Of course millions die every year. But I believe you mean does Pat Robertson believe millions will die from some "cataclysmic event"? I do believe he believes these predictions he makes. (Of course they never come true.)

We have 8 billion people in the world
The death rate is more than 7 per thousand in most countries!!!
That means probably there are like 56 million people going to die in a year.
Depends on country. Old age, disease, war, etc.

I missed it that Day, but I have no doubt Dr. Robertson believes it will happen. I think he thinks we will be hit by another 911, or Katrina. It will be a judgment on the sins of America. Weather he heard from The LORD or not I dare not judge, the WORD warns not to touch God's Anointed, and do no harm to His Prophet. Dr. Pat Robertson is a Man of God.

Millions of people die every year on the planet. This isn't news. Approximately 52 million people die every year... so, does this make him a prophet, a statistician or just someone who can read the news?

Pat Robertson is a false prophet trying to scare people and making people come to his feet. He has said other things that have not come true.
