Now that's a tough one! In this day and age that's kind of unheard of!?
In all honesty, I'd probably wonder if they were gay, first. If so, that's ok, not my thing, but have no problem with it.
But, if I found out they weren't, I'd find that so unusual that it might be a turn-on!

Wow...my first reaction was "I'd be terrified." Then I realized that was such a closed minded reaction. You'd really have to know the reasons. Some people want to wait for the right person, wait for marriage, take a vow of celibacy...who knows! It's not really my place to judge. What I wonder is, how much sexual tension does a man store up from puberty to the age of 47? Good God I'd go crazy! So more power to him!
Edit, somebody earlier said it'd be a turn on...I can't imagine a 47 year old virgin being a turn on...a clueless 47 year old fumbling around naked? Yikes...I know it's harsh but you want the cold hard truth as I see it, there you have it. I wouldn't personally see it as a turn on. But hey, if she does, then hook her up with your buddy and voila, kill two birds with one stone!

Well, sometimes it can be a good thing and sometimes it can be a somewhat bad thing. In terms of guys being virgins, it's good because a woman feels like he saved himself for her. And it can also kinda be a bad thing, because girls want their sex to be GREAT, and to get something like that im pretty sure you need someone with experience. But don't get me wrong, being 47 and a virgin is great! Every gurl has a different opinion though.

It's unusual for you to be concerned about another guy's private life, unless you are interested in having a relationship with him. Maybe he is sexually immature and doesn't place a high priority on sex. Since he hasn't been sexually active he has no STD's to worry about either. I think it's rather quaint and sweet to know there's people out there who value themselves more than to just run around hooking up with everybody and getting a reputation for the remainder of his life.

Cool with me! I think it's pretty admirable. It's by no means common, but I don't think there's a problem with it. One question though, have you never been married?

Wow!! Only thing i can tell you is to take it slow. B/c if you rush it it only gonna make her resist you even more. also its a reason she is still a virgin. when she's ready she will let you know.

uh....i would initially giggle..but after i knew the guy for a while...i could probably figure out that he has a reason for still being a virgin.
