Well, I guess you had to be there. Romans crucified Jesus, and you just said that they were theists, so...the theists did it. If Jesus came to earth to die for every ones sin then how in the world are Atheists responsible for it? Did he, or did he not, come here to do just that?

Because killing Jesus was a political decision not a religious one. And just because one believes in God does not make that person ethical. If it did then all the devils in Hell would be righteous.
Being good is based on a morality and belief in a god that is moral and ones decisions must flow out of that belief. Pilate and Caiaphas were acting out of politics. Doing what was needed for them to stay in power. They could not have cared less if Jesus was God's son or the worse sinner in Judea. Pilate actually did not want to kill Jesus -- he only gave in to keep peace and his job and life.
Islam arose some 600 years later and is a blend of Christianity, Judaism, and Mohammad's teaching. It would have killed Jesus faster than Roman ever would have. It is a religion of no tolerance whatsoever for anything else and is amazingly monotheist. It's heart knows no grace and that breeds intolerance and hate.

I think that you don't exactly understand the meanings of the words "theist" and "atheist". The people involved in the death of jesus, for the most part, were romans, and jews. Most romans believed in their gods, making them theists, and jews obviously believe in a god, too, making them theists, as well. I really don't see where atheists fit into this equation, so I have to guess that your definition of atheist is not correct. It almost seems like you think atheist means "non-christian". This is a grave error to make.

Do you have the brain power of a rock?
They were not deceived into it. According to the bible (which YOU need to read apparently because the Atheists know more about it than you do), Jesus was causing trouble for the Roman leaders, so they arrested him.
Pontius Pilate gave his followers, and the people of Rome, a choice who would face the cross. THEY CHOSE JESUS.
Uggg.... whats it going to take to pound that into your head?
STOP TROLLING AND READ YOUR OWN BLOODY BIBLE.
Edit: IT WAS NOT AN ATHEIST IDEA. The Romans were not Atheists. Pontius Pilate was JEWISH. The people that called for his death were Jewish.
Troll.

so how are you working atheists into any of this?

*******
atheist don't believe in GODS; how would harming HUMANS even enter into the concept of what an atheist is all about?
******
go into history and tally up the killings by theists and those by atheists and tell me which is the longer column

The Romans and Athiests did not do anything to Jesus. You can't kill a fictional character. Oh, and Jews had nothing to do with any of these silly stories.

...what ? !!! who's been teaching you...? Mickey Mouse...?
Rome had nothing to do with the Crucifixion of Jesus... Ponces Pelotis was the governor who caved in to pressure from the Sanhedrin who wanted Jesus dead... Rome did authorize the "machine" by which He was crucified...The Cross... He wasn't "lynched"........

So your argument is:
Christians believe in the divinity of jesus.
Muslims, who belong to a religion that also belongs to the abrahamic familiy of religions, also believe in the same.
Therefore all religions accept the divinity of jesus.
That's like saying that since both lions and cats are felines, all animals are.

Do you mean that they were deceived by atheists, or that they tied atheists together to make a rope to lynch Jesus with? (don't look now but your modifier is dangling)
