Jesus never existed, and Paul was secretly worshiping escalators. He groomed your laces to be a sacrifice to them...

Because Jesus has left the building... Deal with it!!!!
Long before a group of people made a book and called it The Bible.
--- Read all about it, then forget half it!
(Between you, me and the fence post, There a whole lot of pages missing..)

Note: Remove all laces from shoes, coats or make sure no hanging lace and then enter escalator.

Jesus spoke to a specific place and time. To discover WWJD we must look at the advice he gave to the place and time and apply that to our own. This is why scripture does not condone slavery. It spoke to a world with slavery and taught proper treatment of slaves. Since we don't have slavery, the same text tells us how to deal with people in power relationships less extreme than slavery. Likewise, Jesus did advise on prudence from time to time and it is prudent to tie your shoes whenever possible.
Others might say that he did warn us, but his every word was not recorded. Why write about escalators before there are any. Others might say that, I don't...

For the exact same reason he didn't warn us about putting forks in toasters, not to spit on other kids, and to wear clean underwear when you leave the house. Freewill is a marvelous thing. You get to experience the whys and how comes when you take that route. I guess you have to think about it with your own brain first, then if it seems like a good idea, act on it.

He instructed your great great grandfather about it but your great grand father forgot to mention to your grandfather that the instruction also have to be turned over to your father, besides Jesus never knew that there will be an elevator in the future aside from the fact that he was using sandals or sometimes walked barefoot.

You chose not to listen. Jesus is warning you every day that He is going to pour out His wrath on the unbelieving, yet few bother to listen.
