Because the government is infested with liberals and corporate lobbyists. We need to go to war, in order to get the job done.
LOL@ the answer above. May 1st, 2006, was one of the BEST days last year, because I was able to drive to my destinations faster, shop peacefully, and get through checkouts fast. It was great, and the protest DID NOTHING but shut down McDonald's, and Mexican owned businesses that I never patronize. American teenagers will resume working fast food again when all illegals are deported after the war.
Please illegals punish us some more --permanently---- by going back to wherever you all came from I would prefer a lifetime without a Mexican, a day is not long enough.

If the government was hell bent on keeping illegal immigrants out, they would arrest, fine and close down those businesses who hire them.
They would arrest, fine and lock up any private citizen who hired one as nanny, landscaper, maid, chambermaid....
If there were not jobs, there would be less illegal immigration.
The government DOESN'T care - don't you understand this? They want a guest worker program and amnesty......

They aren't trying to stop them from coming in. If they were, they wouldn't be legalizing them ever few years. They aren;t very strict. Its mostly about cheap labor. They won't make the ones on welfare work. Its just verbal garbage....they are not that smart to figure out how to stop them and they don't care.
