says this and the Bible says that.

In my experience, most bound collections of paper are fairly silent. True, when I drop on on the floor, it makes a thud and such, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

Does your mileage vary? What new secrets of physics have you discovered??

The bible is the written word of the wise elders. The laws are written and punishment for nearly every possible event that can go wrong or be committed by man, examples are written. The rules for eating prior to the refrigerator and antibiotics still hold true to this day, no other foods have been added to the non-kosher list., how very clever they were. If you can read, read the old testament, it speaks to you with your eyes and not your ears. Amen (from a non religious person)

Sorry I thought you said you had the Bible in your ear and I was going to say
'how big is your ear'. : } The reasons we say that the Bible says this or that is
because it does. We listen to the Holy Spirit Who guides into all truth. When I
first became a Christian in 1971, I didn't have anyone to teach me but the Holy
Spirit. He is as real as God and Jesus. You need to take the Bible away from
your ear, open it up and read what it has to say. Try starting with John 3:16. and
go from there. I sincerely hope that you do. You might learn something that could
change your life forever.

I'm glad you didn't hear anything--otherwise the men in white coats may come and git ya..ha

The words written in the Bible don't speak--they are written. They can be first, second,or third class clauses which can cause me to ponder their meaning. If i forget something in the Bible I don't worry because someone will rehearse them to me. I guess we all ought to be careful of euphemisms

Never be a blasphemer, because you take things too literally. Use your eyes not your ears. Pls. Reflect, in avoidance of blasphemous idiocy.

ok, stop being an idiot...sorry to say that but that statement is so stupid....the Bible doesn't talk....i think Christians say that "The Bible says...." because the Bible holds the Word of God in written form and it is like God is talking to us.

If you open it up you should find it has words inside. They may be looked at and read. If read aloud they may be heard!
