It's Raining SSRIs! Amen!

I'm gonna forget about other therapies and let myself get
Absolutely soaking wet!

It's Raining SSRIs! Hallelujah!
It's Raining SSRIs! Every Specimen!

Prozac, Paxil, Effexor and Celexa
Rough and tough and strong and mean!

Do you also sing this song or does your therapist sing it?

It is not my aim with this question to make fun at other people. It is critisism to those therapists who think SSRIs are the only form of treatment.

Yes its what the drug companies sing. I get your point about the debate on over prescribing. They are a godsend for many though.
Must admit its nice to have a sense of hum or life is way too serious esp when you are ill.

the effexor makes it possible for me to talk to my therapist and benefit from the exchange. I deal with a psychiatrist for the medications, and my therapist and I deal with my issues.
Therapists that concern themselves with medications and not with the issues of their client need more training.

I would think that the MD's and drug companies would be singing this song.
