Well, 5 year guarantee from new. So even a 3 year old one will have plenty of time before you pay for any parts.

Warranty direct say that Hyudai are reliable and when they need repairs are cheap to fix. Not as good as Honda Jazz or Toyota Yaris but these are more expensive cars.

Only things I dont like about Getz are doors do not deadlock and radio is not integral, more likely to get thieves after the contents of your car.

They hold their values well, unlike previous Hyundai models. Suzuki values known to devalue quickly, so new Swift model may go same way. Suzuki's not liked by garage trade.

Avoid Renault and other such offerings.

Yes the Getz is a good car.

Possibly.

I considered one when changing my car, but went for a Suzuki Swift instead. They look a lot better and are good to drive (mainly due to revvy 1.5 engine and wide track (horizontal spacing of wheels).

I don't consider myself a fashion victim, but the Getz is an older persons car (70+).

It all depends what you want from a car, and whether you like the look of it or not. Book a test drive and read up on what features the car has, then compare it to rivals in the same price bracket.

Also, check out the review on www.parkers.co.uk to see if it points out any faults or features the dealer/brochures aren't likely to tell you about.

If you like the car and it has no drawbacks for you, then there's no reason you shouldn't look into buying one.
