shes not firm on her awnser of NO at all, i think she may be considering it, because she cant think of a reason why not. im very mature and im not a **** at all. i also ALWAYS wear apropriat clothing. i want it pirced for ME.not for any one else

Tell your mom why you want the piercing. If the reasons sound stupid or not good enough to you then you should probably reconsider. If you think it will boost your self-esteem or make you popular or just want it for the hell of it. If you are doing it for yourself, then ask yourself why you are doing it. I'm 20 years old and I personally think a 14 year old shouldn't have a belly button piercing.

Look your mom is right, for not allowing you to get your belly button pierced at this time in your life. It is good to know that you want it to be done just for you alone, and not for anyone else to see.. Because if you are just doing it for your friends or to win a popularity contest at school then it is not Worth it.Your mom might be considering it as you say. But wait until she gives you a definite answer. Do not go behind her back and do it. That is showing that you do not respect your mom, and you just said that you are a responsible person., So be responsible and do the right thing. If your mom says no, there must be a logical reason for her to say no,don't get angry , you can try asking her again when you are 18yrs, or wait until you are old enough with a job and living on your own, spending your own money.

Ya i had the same problem and my parents made me wait until i was 18 to get mine done but then i did and my body just rejected the metal and it grew out so i got worked up over nothing--i have other piercings and tattoos now-just listen to your mom and bribe her into it with good grades or chores or something you kno

my best friend id the same way she wanted hers so badley sheis 14 too , she finally talked her dad into (divorced parents) and her mom would NEVER let that happen ever not even consider... it leaked to a frind who is bffs w/ her mom and her mom went literally crazy....honestly please wait untill you get your mothers consent there was an amout of blood and tons of pain involved and she had to take it out.
