Am I a friend or potential boyfriend?

Question

What are some ways for me to determining whether a girl likes me more as a friend or a potential boyfriend? Are there any signals? And/or are there any things that I can do that may cause a reaction from her, a reaction that leans to one view of me over the other?

I may select the best answer on this one, if I find an answer that has multiple, various effective ways for me to determine the truth.

Basically, it will be pretty obvious in just a few ways. First, most confident girls are flirtatious with a lot of guys, but will go a bit beyond to flirting if they really want to snag a particular guy. If the girl is really touchy-feely, or comments on how good you look in something, and most imortantly, gives out her number to you, than most likely she is WAY into u.
BUT, most girls are shy and sometimes they do not make it obvious. To determine if a shy girl likes u, you should ask her out maybe in a group setting and make it seem like you are just interested in "hanging out." Go to the movies or a museum. Sit next to her, talk to her, and basically seem "non-threatening." When a shy girl feels safe to make the move, you might be surprised how quickly she comes out of her shell. You could then ask her out again, EXCEPT this time make it a "one-on-one" invitation. If she accepts, than you know she understands you are asking her on a date and is quite happy to accept your invite. Shy girls take more effort and are harder to get to open up, but this is normal and just takes patience. When you go out on your date, casually touch her like placing your hand on her shoulder, or brushing your hand across her leg in conversation. If she backs off, then that too should tell you she is not digging you. If she seems content and even returns the "casual" touching, that too is a sign.
Most importantly is if she continues to say yes to your invites, then she is interested. But you will not know until you ask her out. AND please don't ask her to the movies. Movies do not allow for conversation. You need to talk in order to know if you are compatible. Pick a cute coffee shop, a museum, an amusement park, golf course, ANYTHING where there is physical and vocal interaction. By the end of such a date, you will tell if a girl digs you.

this all helps while a woman is talking to you. try picking up a book on body language to really find out. always look for subconscious little details.

if a woman plays with her hair
if she's leaning towards you while you talk
she establishes physical contact with you, like light touchs on the arm or something.
eye contact is a big determinant. women get this like shimmer in their eyes, i can't explain it. but direct eye contact (no stalker stares) is always a good way to tell if a woman likes you.

there are alot of ways to tell if someone likes you but most girls are different in there approach. some girls will flirt alot and some just stare from a distance. One way to tell if she likes you is if u see that person around you lot(behind you in line or if they walk past you alot) also see how she ask around other guys, i have alot of guy friends but i act differently with the friend i like. Also she may ask u if u are interested in anyone alot

you pretty much find out with how much tme you guys spend together and you have to look at how she acts towards you and what kind of convos ya'll be having its all a mind thing
