I have one Rockford Fosgate P3 12" sub and I need an amp to go with it. I want something that will give it the power it should have. It says that 12" sub has 500 rms and 1000 peak. Im just wondering how big of an amp i need and whether it should be a mono amp or a 2 channel amp. I need something with some power

If it (the sub) can be wired to 1Ohm then get an amp with a rating of about 500wrms @ 1Ohm. If the sub can be wired to 2Ohms, get one with a rating of about 500wrms @2Ohms. You can slightly overpower this baby by 200 watts or so. I recommend doing this with a sealed box under RF's specs.

There are few things in this world that I enjoy more than a good dump. The feeling I get when a nice fresh turd moves out of my rectum, clears my sphincter and falls into the water with a satisfying plop is one of sheer euphoria and peaceful tranquility.

you didnt say if you had the dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm model or if you are running 1 or 2 and it depends on how you want to wire it.
