Okay, let me tell you. I left my window open on 3/8/07, and got sick on 3/9/07 and currently still sick. My headache is still here. When I try to poo, my head hurts. I tried to sleep but ending up laying on the bed for 2 hours. Because when I was trying to sleep, there is some minor breathing problems. I just ate tylenol 20 minutes ago and still sick, Can anyone give me the solution and future solutions? Just wondering, can leaving the window open at night while you sleep can cause you to be sick? how?

When you sleep your body is in relaxing mode, not fighting mode as during the day, and therefore cold air coming in your window can affect you more easily. (During the day you would notice when it get too cold and would shut the window but at night you are not that aware of it) You probably caught some germs somewhere, and getting chilled on the head lowered the circulation of your head and therefore your inner defenses couldn't work as well, as when your head is better circulated. In the future just air out your bed room 1/2 hour before going to bed and close the window for the night in the cold weather season.
You probably have a head cold or flu coming on. Drink a lot of warm hearbal teas with honey and lemon. Gargle with vinegar water (1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to 1 glass of water) once every hour, eat some garlic pills. Honey, vinegar and garlic have properties that destroy germs.

First, SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!

Next, leaving your window open won't make you any sicker than keeping it closed. My husband used to open the window in the dead of winter and we didn't get sick. Luckily, he's gone to a fan, instead.
