The average relationship in love and commitment? Or the average relationship of dating. Or the average relationship of marriage? As I can see it, the average relationship last as long as the average couple want it to. As most average relationships are not average as there are many aspects of life that determine an average relationship.

I would say about 3 years. This seems to be the point at which the people in the relationship realize that the other person is not going to change and then they begin to make the choice as to whether or not they will be able to deal with the person and their flaws.

Depends on the relationship... you can grow apart or grow closer so there no really an average time.
Usually it takes a three years to see the truecolors of your partner being there for the ups and downs...

if you plan on marriage then more than a few yaers and possibly forever and if you dont then it can go from a few months to like a couple of years up to 10 years. its how good the relationship is.

it probably depends on how much the two love each other, i have been with the same guy for almost a year and our relationship is still strong
