Because the bible was written by uneducated superstitious people who had no knowledge of science.
All very primitive people had overactive imaginations. All believed in supernatural powers. They came in all forms and shapes.
The strangest part of the whole thing is that each group feels that the stupidity that it believes in makes great sense, while all others are just foolishness.
There are a great many things that are not in the "holy" bible, the "holy" koran, the "holy" talmud, etc
Evolution is not in the bible because the bible is just beliefs. Evolution is science.

The Bible was written way before anyone knew about evolution. The writers in the Bible interpreted the info God gave them into language that people of their time could understand. The story is basically right: God made the world, and everything in it. The writers just changed the "how" into something that ancient people understood.

2012......is not in the bible because the lord will come back and save the good people who love him and believe in peace. now, by 2012, the earth will change dramatically, so beware that he, (the son of man) will come and be happy. you don't want an evolution so big, that will cause chaos, chaos so bad that almost all humanity and animals will die. however, the son of man will come and the bible does says so. see Revelation chapter 22, 1-21....and say AMEN at the end and smile...the world will be a better place to live in, rather than the world we live today, where we even have to pay for food and medical services...the world of today sucks, but the one for tomorrow will have no sin and will be reign in peace! amen

There are no airplanes in the bible either. But we know airplanes exist because we created them. Same goes for planets and most everything discovered by astronomers.

For real, you can examine the world and universe to an infinite level of detail. The bible is limited to a few hundred pages. In so few pages the bible can only explain in the most general and basic level.

As the saying, the devil's in the details. :)

God created his creations to be adaptful. Life shows things change and thusly creatures adapt to it. God created the laws of this world and everything in it therefore nothing found in it can show God isnt here. Anyways My point was that Life does adapt and change and life is all about change but Life doesnt change the the extent evolution says. Creatures are not going to just turn into frogs then turn into a plant. Thats just insane lol

The Bible can be interpreted in many different ways- the most common of which, is metaphorically.
Perhaps the stories in the Bible are based on truth perhaps not- perhaps Genesis is just an Allegory; an attempt to convey God's true strength and power, and to enforce awe and even fear.
Who is to say God didn't place bones and fossils and such like in the ground himself? Maybe even God gets bored and needs to see his minions argue abit :P
I know that's abit far fetched lol.
But I guess it all comes down to interpretation and belief.

Because the Holy Bible, unlike the fact of evolution, is rubbish.

OH BROTHER!
Evolution basically says half the stuff in the 'Book 'o' fairy tales', as I've come to call it, isn't true. Of course christians don't want to see proof that god didn't make life. Why would they put it in their bible?
Yet another argument of yours is so pathetic and lame it makes want to laugh.

Evolution isn't true. Haven't you read the book of Gensis?? "In the Beginning, GOD CREATED the heavens and the earth." You need to read a Bible and get your facts straight.

the religion of evolution is false the bible on the other hand has many unchanging scientific and prophetic facts (atheists are afraid of un-changing scientific facts)
